Terms of sale and use

1. Who sells

The seller is the business named in the imprint, an individual seller in Germany.

2. What you buy

FlossChart turns a picture into a cross-stitch chart in your web browser. The free version shows a preview and the floss list for any size and lets you print charts up to 40 x 40 stitches. The full unlock lets you print charts up to 500 x 500 stitches, for as many patterns as you like, in the browser where you paid.

3. Price and payment

The price is €5 once. No VAT is charged (small business under Section 19 UStG). There is no subscription. Payment is handled by PayPal. We never see your card or bank details.

4. Delivery

The unlock starts right after PayPal confirms the payment. It is saved in your browser. Keep your PayPal order ID. If the unlock is lost (new device, cleared browser data), contact us with the order ID and we will help.

5. Right of withdrawal

EU consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered right away, this right ends when delivery starts, if you agreed to that and confirmed you know you lose the right. We ask for this consent with a checkbox before payment. Our voluntary refund policy still applies.

6. Your pictures

Your picture is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to us. Only use pictures you own or have the right to use. You are responsible for the charts you make.

7. Colors and results

Screen colors are approximations of real DMC thread. Skein counts are estimates. Check your thread before you buy large amounts.

8. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid, unless the law does not allow this limit. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Law and disputes

German law applies. If you live in another EU country, the mandatory consumer rules of that country still protect you. Please contact us first so we can solve the problem.
